Marco is determined to prove he is the best student at his dojo when a legendary Grandmaster visits to certify the school.

To Marco's frustration, Sensei Brantley chooses the obnoxious Jeremy Birnbaum to represent the dojo instead of him. Marco spends the episode trying to expose Jeremy's poor character but eventually learns that "Honor"—one of the pillars of karate—is more important than the certification itself.

Miss Heinous tries to force Marco to apologize on camera to regain her status, but she is eventually driven away when Star and Marco's parents prove to be more "scary" through their overwhelming hospitality and awkwardness.
