As the two Koreas prepare to print a brand-new unified currency for a new (JEA), a criminal mastermind known as The Professor (Yoo Ji-tae) plans a revolutionary heist. He recruits a team of eight specialists—each adopting a city codename—to take over the mint and print 4 trillion won.

The series is divided into two distinct parts within its first season:

Focuses on the initial infiltration of the mint, the taking of hostages, and the formation of a joint task force between North and South Korean authorities to handle the crisis.
