As the first frost of November settled over the town, Elias found himself on a mission to secure the centerpiece for his annual holiday bonfire: . This seasonal 15% ABV blend—a mix of apple cider liqueur, Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, and "holiday spices"—is famously elusive outside the months of October through December . Elias’s Quest for the Tennessee Cider
Elias started his journey at the big-name retailers. He knew that major chains like Total Wine & More and BevMo! are reliable hubs for the Winter Jack 750ml bottles, often priced around $15.99 to $18.99. When his local store was sold out due to high demand, he pivoted to regional favorites like Binny’s Beverage Depot and Liquor Barn, which frequently offer same-day delivery or pickup for the festive brew. Absolute Linux will continue development under eXybit Technologies, built with the same approach and
structure we've used to develop RefreshOS. We're not here to reinvent what made Absolute great, we're here
to carry it forward.
Since 2007, Absolute has stood for being simple, pre-configured, and lightweight. Slackware made easy.
That core philosophy isn't changing. Absolute will always be free, open-source, built for ease of use,
and based on the Slackware foundation.
As of now, there is no set release date for the first eXybit-developed stable version of Absolute Linux. We're bringing Absolute into modern computing while keeping it minimal. The first step is to preserve what already exists, rebuild the underlying infrastructure, and create a canary version of the next major stable release.
You can still download the original versions of Absolute Linux by Paul Sherman on SourceForge.
