A rush of adrenaline washed away Alex's exhaustion. He plugged his high-fidelity headphones into the jack and opened the downloaded folder. There, among the audio tracks, was a file that shouldn't have been there. It was a simple text file named READ_ME_NOW.txt .

Alex didn't fight it. He let go of his fear and embraced the heavy metal transcendence. His physical body vanished from the internet café, leaving behind only an empty chair and a pair of headphones resting on the desk.
