: Stafford Beer applied his Viable System Model (VSM) to the state, viewing the economy as a living organism with a "nervous system".
: Unlike the Soviet model of top-down central planning, Cybersyn aimed for a "liberty machine" that encouraged worker participation and local autonomy.
