A stray cat wanders into Central Perk and Phoebe becomes convinced it is the reincarnation of her adoptive mother , Lily. While the rest of the group humor her, Ross is frustrated by the irrationality, especially after they find a "missing cat" flyer for a cat named Julio . Eventually, Ross is pressured into apologizing to the cat to mend his friendship with Phoebe before she returns it to its rightful owner.

Trying to sell their oversized entertainment center, Joey allows a potential buyer to lock him inside one of the units to prove he can fit. The "buyer" then robs the apartment , leaving nothing but the entertainment center and a note on the Magna-Doodle that says, "Thanks for all your stuff!". They later trade the unit for a canoe .
