Originally aired on , this episode features two distinct and humorous storylines.

In the subplot, Rose becomes an overly competitive coach for a youth football team. When she, Dorothy, and Sophia try to help, Rose's intensity causes friction. A memorable moment occurs in the locker room when Sophia offers a touching pep talk to a small-statured player named Billy, drawing on her own experiences being small.

After being stood up by her current boyfriend, Blanche meets a handsome man named John Quinn (played by Edward Winter) at a bar. She accepts a date with him, only to later realize that John is actually blind. The plot explores Blanche's deep-seated insecurity: because she relies so heavily on her physical beauty for validation, she struggles with the fact that John cannot see her.

    1. If you file your tax return electronically, you should not have to print it. You can keep an electronic copy for your tax records.

  2. I am seeing conflicting information about the standard deduction for a single senior tax payer. In one place it says $$16,550. and in another it says $15,000.00. Which is correct?

    1. For a single taxpayer, the standard deduction (for 2024) is $14,600. For a taxpayer who is either legally blind or age 65 or older, the standard deduction is $16,550. For a taxpayer who is both legally blind AND age 65 or older, the standard deduction is $18,500.

For 2025, the standard deduction for single taxpayers (without adjustments for age or blindness) is $15,000.
