Inspired by Dennis's "green" kick, Charlie and Frank become obsessed with dumpster diving for "treasures." They fill Charlie's apartment with so much trash they can no longer sleep there, eventually sleeping in a dumpster themselves. The Conclusion and Revelations

Dennis joins a radical environmentalist group to appear "heroic." After being mocked by the group's leader, Sage, Dennis tricks him into chaining himself to a tree overnight in the rain while Dennis sleeps with Sage's girlfriend, Asriel. The next morning, Dennis unchains Sage only to signal a bulldozer to cut the tree down.

Mac and Dee find an abandoned baby in a dumpster behind the bar. Initially intending to raise him, they quickly pivot to trying to make him a star. When a talent agent explains that white babies aren't in demand, they try to tan the child and eventually use shoe polish to make him appear Latino.

A significant plot point is the revelation that . This leads Charlie to believe Frank is his father, though Frank denies it, claiming he is positive Charlie is not his son because the mother, Bonnie Kelly, allegedly went through with the procedure. The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby

The episode ends with a chaotic confrontation at Paddy's Pub, where Child Protection Services (CPS) arrives to find the gang arguing over trash while holding D.B., who is covered in shoe polish.
