In the Stargate SG-1 Season 2, Episode 9 ("Desperate Measures"), Major Samantha Carter is abducted by a rogue NID operative working for a dying billionaire named Adrian Conrad. Conrad successfully implants a symbiote to save his life, forcing SG-1 to rescue Carter and confront the new, dangerous Goa'uld-possessed villain.
