The film was recorded over five nights in London, Berlin, and Turin. Because IMAX cameras at the time could only hold about nine minutes of film, the production required massive coordination to swap magazines between songs without missing the action. The result was a visual experience of unprecedented scale, projected on screens up to eight stories high, which allowed fans to see the band with a level of detail previously impossible in cinema.
