Elias leaned closer, his eyes straining against the digital noise. The man in the video stopped speaking and looked directly into the lens. His eyes weren't dark; they were missing. In their place were two perfectly smooth patches of skin. privat5.mp4

The shadows reached the man’s throat, and the video cut to black. Then, a small text box appeared in the center of the screen

"It is recorded," the man whispered. The audio was suddenly, impossibly clear, as if he were standing right behind Elias. privat5.mp4

It was tucked away in a sub-directory of a server decommissioned in 2009. The name was unremarkable: privat5.mp4. Elias clicked play.

WinEpi 2.0 has been designed as a cooperative platform in order to provide epidemiological tools to scientific and academic community. For this reason it is important to strengthen the self-learning ability including with step-by-step guidelines and solved examples. Functions and examples will be available in different languages and everybody could submit proposal to implement new formulae, to suggest examples and to collaborate as translators.
