The 2015 UK National Security Strategy and Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR) established a 10-year, £178 billion plan prioritizing economic security, state-based threats, and defense funding. While combining policy and capability, the review faced scrutiny for failing to address the implications of Brexit and the potential for a disjointed, broad-scope strategy.
