Invasion Of The Saucer Men Now

The story takes place in the small town of Hicksburg, where teenagers Johnny Carter and Joan Hayden are out for a romantic evening at the local "Lovers' Lane". Their night takes a bizarre turn when they accidentally run over a pint-sized alien with a massive, pulsating, cabbage-like head and bulging eyes.

Panic-stricken, the couple flees the scene to alert the authorities. Meanwhile, Joe Gruen, a drunken opportunist, discovers the alien corpse and plans to store it in his refrigerator to later cash in on the find. However, the alien's companions have other plans. These creatures possess retractable, needle-like fingernails that inject pure alcohol—a lethal weapon for these "Saucer Men". The Framing of Johnny Carter Invasion of the Saucer Men

The aliens quickly retaliate, killing Joe with an alcohol overdose and swapping his body for their fallen comrade. When Johnny and Joan return with the sheriff, they find Joe's body instead of an extraterrestrial. Johnny is immediately charged with vehicular manslaughter, a classic trope reflecting the 1950s distrust of teenagers by authority figures.
