Clash Of The Titans(1981) Apr 2026

Years pass, and Perseus grows into a strong, noble young man. His life is changed by the petty jealousies of the gods. The goddess Thetis is furious because Zeus has punished her son, Calibos, by transforming him into a monstrous creature for his cruelty. To even the scales, Thetis transports Perseus from his quiet island to the city of Joppa.

The story begins in the heavens of Mount Olympus, where Zeus, the King of the Gods, watches over the mortals with a mix of pride and temper. When King Acrisius of Argos casts his daughter Danae and her infant son Perseus into the sea to die, an enraged Zeus orders the destruction of Argos. He has Poseidon release the Kraken, a prehistoric sea monster, to pull the city into the depths. Meanwhile, the gods ensure Danae and Perseus drift safely to the shores of Seriphos.

The journey to the Underworld is treacherous. Perseus and his band of soldiers reach the Isle of the Dead and enter Medusa’s lair. The Gorgon is a terrifying creature with a serpent's tail and hair of living snakes. One by one, Perseus’s men are turned to stone. Using his polished shield to see her reflection without looking directly at her, Perseus manages to decapitate Medusa and secure her head in a magical bag. Clash of the Titans(1981)

Perseus captures and tames the last of the winged horses, Pegasus, and uses the helmet of invisibility to spy on Andromeda. He follows her soul as it is carried by a giant vulture to Calibos’s swamp. There, he learns the answer to the next riddle. After a brief struggle with Calibos, Perseus returns to Joppa, answers the riddle correctly, and wins Andromeda’s hand.

Time runs out. Andromeda is chained to the cliffs of Joppa as the Kraken rises from the sea. Just as the monster prepares to strike, Perseus arrives on Pegasus, who was rescued by the clockwork owl Bubo. Perseus pulls the head of Medusa from the bag. The Kraken looks into the Gorgon’s eyes and instantly turns to solid stone, crumbling into the ocean. Years pass, and Perseus grows into a strong, noble young man
