: Place your fabric pieces right sides together and sew a basting stitch (a long, temporary stitch) along the seam where the zipper will go.
: Using a zipper foot , topstitch down both sides of the zipper on the right side of the fabric.
: Remove the temporary basting stitches to reveal the zipper.
